The primary method of communicating with volunteers will be via email and text messaging. Email communication will include items such as confirmations, updates, and newsletters as well as schedule reminders the day before your scheduled shift. Text messages can also be used, at your option, for schedule reminders, and last-minute schedule changes due to weather.
You are strongly encouraged to opt in for text messages through the application process. Text messaging will only be used for timely, event specific, communications and will stop at the end of the event. You will not receive any marketing communications, unless you specifically chose to, and you will easily be able to ‘Opt Out’.
By volunteering for Stifel Sun Valley Finals, you are volunteering for U.S. Ski and Snowboard. USSS is a nonprofit organization and the national governing body for skiing and snowboarding in the United States with a mission to support athlete training, development, competition, and educational needs.
