Sun Valley and Snowbasin wanted to provide more options for our guests, introduce other pass holders to our resorts, and be part of two passes within the industry that match the needs of guests in our markets. This is strictly a season pass partnership and does not constitute any ownership with either partner.

Sun Valley and Snowbasin remain independently owned and operated. They have formed a pass partnership, starting with the 2022–23 winter season, with Mountain Collective to offer benefits to each other’s season pass holders.

There is a multi-year partnership with Mountain Collective starting with the 2022-23 winter season.

For the 2024–25 winter season, Sun Valley Challenger Pass and Challenger Platinum Pass Holders and Snowbasin Premier Pass and Premier Plus Pass Holders will receive 50% off day window tickets at all Mountain Collective resorts.

Mountain Collective Pass Holders will receive up to two days of unrestricted access at both Sun Valley and Snowbasin and an additional 50% off day window tickets for pass holders.

Mountain Collective Pass Holders are able to select one mountain to ski for up to three days.

Bring your Mountain Collective bar code receipt to any ticket window to redeem. If you have a Sun Valley pass card from a previous season please bring it with you and we will load your new Mountain Collective pass directly onto it.
