lifttickets@sunvalley.com.
When is the best time to purchase my winter season pass?
The earlier, the better. Season pass prices will increase the closer we get to the beginning of the next winter season, so we recommend purchasing your pass now to lock in the lowest possible pricing.
I have purchased my season pass — how and where do I pick it up?
Passes can be picked up at Ticket Offices at the base of the mountain or at the Rec Office in the Sun Valley Village.
Are there any restrictions on the 15 Day Plus Pass?
No. The 15 Day Plus Pass is valid for 15 days of skiing/riding (no blackout dates) plus 50% off single-day lift tickets (ticket window rate) after the pass holder has skied/ridden 15 days. Unused days are NON-REFUNDABLE and CAN NOT BE ROLLED OVER to the next season.
Can I upgrade a limited pass (Freedom Found, 15 Day Plus, Early/Late, Dollar Mountain) to a full season pass during the season? How much will it cost?
Yes, you may upgrade a limited pass to a full season pass at any time during the season. The cost will reflect the pricing for the full season pass product you wish to purchase at the time of the upgrade (not the cost at the time of original purchase). Please call the Season Pass Office at (888) 490-5950 if you wish to upgrade.
Do I qualify for the College Pass?
You must be a full-time college student between the ages of 18 and 29 and must provide proof of full-time student status (enrolled in a minimum of 12 undergraduate credits) at an accredited college or university. Students will be required to present a valid student ID, proof of current enrollment, and a government-issued photo ID in order to pick up their College Pass. Questions? Call the Season Pass Office at (888) 490-5950.
When is the Early/Late Pass valid?
For the 2023–24 season, the Early/Late Pass is valid from opening day through 12/15/23 and from 3/18/24 through closing day.
For the 2024–25 season, the Early/Late Pass is valid from opening day through 12/13/24 and from 3/17/25 through closing day.
I have a child who is four years old or younger - how do I purchase a season pass for him/her?
Children four and under ski free at Sun Valley when accompanied by a paying adult, but they still need to have a pass or a lift ticket with them. Simply stop by one of our base area ticket windows to pick up a free pass for your child or call (888) 490-5950 for more info.
I have a Challenger Platinum Pass or Challenger Pass (Adult or Young Adult). How do I purchase my 50%-off friends and family lift tickets?
Stop by any of Sun Valley's base area ticket windows and show your Challenger Platinum or Challenger Pass to the ticket salesperson to purchase your discounted friends and family lift tickets.
Does Sun Valley offer military discounts?
Yes! For 2024-25, active military members may purchase the
Freedom Found or
15 Day Plus Passes for 50% off. Sun Valley also offers discounted lift tickets for active duty and retired military members and their qualifying spouses and dependents (18 years of age and younger). Active duty, retired military members and veterans are eligible for 50% off the daily adult lift ticket rate, for themselves, spouses and direct dependents under 18 years of age. These tickets must be purchased in person at a Sun Valley ticket window and a military ID must be presented at the time of purchase.
Does Sun Valley have other pass or lift ticket products for the less-frequent visitor?
Yes. Although our 15 Day Plus Pass is a fantastic value for those who do not need a full season pass, Sun Valley offers a variety of lift ticket options to meet your needs if you decide that our season pass options are not right for you.
What if my pass is lost or stolen?
Please contact the Sun Valley Season Pass Office at (888) 490-5950 if your pass is lost or stolen. We can deactivate the lost pass and provide you with a replacement.
Can someone else use my season pass?

Why did Sun Valley and Snowbasin stop the Epic Pass partnership?

This is strictly a season pass partnership and does not constitute any ownership with either partner.
