In preparation for the 2025 Audi FIS Ski World Cup Finals on March 20th-27th, 2025, Sun Valley Resort will experience intermittent terrain closures on the Warm Springs side of the mountain for A-net installation and race course prep. The A-net installation is planned to take place between Thursday, February 13th and Thursday, February 20th, with some runs experiencing a reduced width for skiers to pass through and other runs closing entirely. The schedule of these impacts is outlined below:
International, Warm Springs Face, Mid Warm Springs & Pete's Lane will be entirely closed. The traverse to Upper Greyhawk, Upper Hemingway & Upper Cozy will be closed, but these trails can still be accessed via the Challenger Mid Station Terminal.

In addition to closures due to A-net installation, other impacts with localized closures will continue due to grooming, and fine-tuning of terrain from February 17th onwards. Then testing for the race course will begin on Saturday, March 1st through Tuesday, March 4th with certain sections closed and full closure on Wednesday, March 5th.
From Thursday, March 6th until the end of March, skiers can expect the entirety of the course to be closed for final preparation and set up, load in of equipment, training, and break down.
