Proctor Crew

The Proctor Crew’s primary role is supporting all aspects of the race at the finish line, Warm Springs Base Area, Sun Valley Village and beyond. You will volunteer alongside the pro-staff teams including the Sun Valley Competition Services Team, Sun Valley Mountain Operations, and the Sun Valley Ski Education Foundation.

To become a part of this prestigious crew, please sign up for AT LEAST 6 half day shifts and sign the US Ski and Snowboard waiver. Due to the large number of volunteer positions and the ever-changing scope of volunteer jobs, you will be signing up for a specific time slot and not necessarily a particular job at this point. Job assignments will begin to be filled in the coming weeks. Thank you in advance for your participation in this prestigious event.

Important Items You Need to Know

  • These are outdoor jobs, in variable weather conditions. You will be required to stand for at least one hour.
  • As a Proctor Crew volunteer, you will be customer-facing, and will probably find yourself talking to other people. You will be a representative of the event, U.S. Ski and Snowboard, and Sun Valley. Volunteers should bring a positive attitude and willingness to help.
  • There is a 6 half-day shift minimum requirement but we are tremendously grateful if you can do more than that. These do not need to be consecutive days or shifts but certainly can be, and can be a mix of prep period, speed disciplines, and tech disciplines.

By volunteering for Stifel Sun Valley Finals, you are volunteering for U.S. Ski and Snowboard. USSS is a nonprofit organization and the national governing body for skiing and snowboarding in the United States with a mission to support athlete training, development, competition, and educational needs.
