Getting to Sun Valley Resort

From Hailey's Friedman Memorial Airport (SUN):

Sun Valley Resort offers complimentary airport transportation to/from the Friedman Memorial Airport in Hailey, ID. The airport is a 25 minutes drive from the resort. Reservations must be made to guarantee a seat upon arrival. To make transportation arrangements, contact Bell Service at least 48 hours before your arrival. From Boise Airport (BOI):

If you are flying into Boise Airport there is a daily shuttle service between Boise Airport and the Sun Valley Lodge via Sun Valley Express. Advance tickets may be purchased by calling Sun Valley Express at (208) 576-7381 or going online to starlinecollection.com/sun-valley-express (Sun Valley Express is not affiliated with Sun Valley Resort). Tickets also may be purchased on the bus at time of departure on a space available basis.

Complimentary Parking

Valet parking is available at the Sun Valley Lodge. Otherwise, parking is complimentary for our hotel guests.

Electric Vehicle Charging

Sun Valley Resort currently hosts 3, level-2 electric vehicle charging stations. We have 2 Tesla Wall Connectors that deliver up to 64 amps of power. We also have a universal J-1772 station that can charge all electric vehicles and delivers up to 32 amps of power. All of our stations are available to our guests and patrons, just ask the front desk for help locating chargers.

Check-In

Check-in is at 4pm.

Guests may receive a mobile check-in option on the day of arrival as well. If you are staying at the Sun Valley Inn you can check-in at the front desk at the Inn. If you are staying at the Lodge, Lodge Apartments, Condos or Townhomes please check-in at The Lodge.

Getting Around

The Sun Valley Village is located just over 1 mile from Downtown Ketchum. There is a well-maintained bike and walking path that leads directly from the resort to town and is accessible in all seasons.

Mountain Rides

The local Mountain Rides bus system, which is free to ride, makes regular round trips from the Sun Valley Village to both Dollar and Bald Mountains, the town of Ketchum, and the Elkhorn Springs and Warm Springs neighborhoods. For most of the year, Mountain Rides makes trips to Bald Mountain every 15 minutes from the Baldy Bus Loop stop, which is the most convenient bus stop in central Village.

Sun Valley Resort Shuttle

Complimentary transportation from the Lodge Bell Service is available to/from restaurants & businesses in Ketchum (no residential trips). Contact Bell Service at the Lodge to arrange your transportation.

Rental Cars

Rental cars are available at the resort from Enterprise Rent-A-Car for roundtrip and one-way rentals. Reserve online with Enterprise Rent-A-Car or call (800) 261-7331. You may also inquire with the Sun Valley Concierge at (208) 622-2097.

Complimentary Ski Storage
